Claire Norgate

Claire's love of movement and recognition of the need to have a mindful practice, has seen her maintain a combination of resistance training, cardio fitness and Yoga practice for well over thirty years.  

Claire’s desire to share the power that being fit, strong and mobile gives to life – as well as sporting performance - is her reason for teaching. And although she teaches many styles of classes, her specialty is Yoga.

Her classes will be physically challenging yet always with an ease of breath and scattered with useful wisdom that is both practical and easy to understand. Her strong science background will ensure that her movement cues are safe and will lead the class into an amazing sense of body awareness and deep relaxation.

Claire currently lectures for the AIF Australia, travels throughout Asia lecturing in Personal Training, Pilates and Yoga and has presented at the FILEX Fitness Convention every year since 2000. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing), Post Graduate – Midwife, Masters of Public Health and Masters of Education. In addition to over 1,000 hours of Yoga teacher training, Claire also holds a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Personal Training and is currently studying Physiotherapy.
